At Northwest Magic, development doesn’t stop with team practice.

For Season 21, we’re expanding our player-development pathway by providing structured training opportunities Monday through Friday for players from Kindergarten through High School.

Our goal is simple:

Give players more opportunities to get in the gym, develop their skills, understand the game, compete and PLAY.

Each training session will combine age-appropriate skill development with basketball IQ, decision-making and competitive/live-play opportunities.

Players do not need to attend five days per week.

Instead, Northwest Magic provides development opportunities five days a week, allowing families to select the age-appropriate schedule and training package that works best for their player.

Current Northwest Magic players receive preferred Member Pricing. Community players are welcome.

HEAD START HOOPERS

K–3RD GRADE | BOYS + GIRLS

Start Early. Build the Foundation.

Head Start Hoopers is Northwest Magic’s introductory player-development program for our youngest athletes.

Players learn basketball fundamentals, movement, coordination, basketball IQ, confidence and team habits in a fun, structured environment.

HEAD START PRICING

Monthly Membership — $75/month

Includes Tuesday + Thursday sessions.

Drop-In — $20/session

No Northwest Magic team membership is required.

YOUTH PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

4TH–7TH GRADE

More than drills.

Our Youth Player Development sessions are designed to help players take what they learn in training and apply it to the game.

Sessions incorporate:

• Ball handling

• Shooting + finishing

• Footwork

• Passing + reads

• Basketball IQ

• Decision-making

• Defense

• Game concepts

• Competitive situations

• Live play

Players can select the schedule that works best for their development goals.

Friday Night Magic brings our development program together with training, competition and live play.

ALL MAGIC OPEN RUN (4th- High School- Players will be grouped with their peers)

6:30–7:30 PM

Boys + Girls

Multiple courts will allow players to be organized by age and level for competitive game play.

7TH GRADE–HIGH SCHOOL

Advanced development + competitive live play.

This session also provides an additional weekly training opportunity for our High School Fall Programs.

HIGH SCHOOL FALL DEVELOPMENT

GIRLS | THE ROAD TO 2027

Our High School Girls Fall Program provides returning Magic players and new prospects opportunities to train, develop, compete and be evaluated as we build toward the 2027 spring/summer season.

FALL TRAINING PACKAGES

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS FALL PROGRAM

While many club programs slow down during the high school fall season, Northwest Magic is creating opportunities for high school boys to stay in the gym, continue developing and compete.

FALL TRAINING PACKAGES

ONE DAY PER WEEK — $150

TWO DAYS PER WEEK — $225

THREE DAYS PER WEEK — $299

Players will also have opportunities to compete in up to 3–4 fall tournaments.

Tournament fees are separate and communicated based on each event.

Returning Magic players + new prospects are welcome.
