The Northwest Magic Girls Program is built on a simple foundation: development, preparation, and opportunity.

Our Spring/Summer 2026 teams are now finalized, tournament schedules are set, and our athletes are focused on preparing for high-level competition and long-term success.

Tryouts for the 2026 season are complete. Families interested in future opportunities, development training, or program information should contact Coach Vanessa.

The Northwest Magic Girls Pathway

Northwest Magic provides a complete development pathway from youth basketball through national high school exposure platforms.

Our structure is designed so players develop step-by-step through competitive environments that prepare them for the next level.

Nike EYCL High School Teams

 

Our Nike EYCL teams compete at the highest level of regional and national competition while preparing athletes for college opportunities.

Focus areas include:

• College exposure preparation

• High level competition

• Advanced team concepts

• Recruiting education

• Leadership development

These teams represent Northwest Magic at the highest competitive level.

Nike Tournament of Champions Team

 

 

Team Rice – Nike Tournament of Champions

Team Rice competes in high level showcase tournaments including the Nike Tournament of Champions along with select exposure events.

Focus areas include:

• Exposure competition

• Skill refinement

• College preparation

• Competitive experience

Nike Jr EYBL Teams

Our Nike Jr EYBL teams compete nationally against top programs while continuing strong development habits.

These teams focus on:

• National competition experience

• Advanced skill development

• Team systems

• Preparation for high school Nike platforms

Our goal is preparing these athletes for Nike high school circuits and future recruiting opportunities.

These teams represent the next step in the Northwest Magic pathway and are being developed for future Nike circuit placement.

• Skill foundation development

USA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The USA Basketball U.S. Open Basketball Championships allow youth the opportunity to compete under the standards and guidelines set forth by the National Governing Body. Top finishers at approved qualifying tournaments around the country will earn official bids to participate in the championship events in Indianapolis, Indiana.

JR NBA GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Jr. NBA Global Championship is a first-of-its-kind global youth basketball tournament for the top 14U teams from around the world. The tournament will feature boys and girls divisions, each comprised of 16 regional champions (eight U.S. teams and eight international teams) that will compete in the championship in August at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando.
