Headstart Hoopers
Kindergarten–3rd Grade
Building confidence, coordination, athletic movement, and a love for the game.
Youth Development Teams
Elementary & Middle School
Teaching strong fundamentals, basketball IQ, teamwork, and competitive habits that prepare athletes for long-term success.
High School Development
Preparing athletes for varsity basketball, elite competition, and college recruiting through advanced skill development and high-level competition.
Elite Nike Circuit Teams
For athletes ready to compete against some of the best players in the country while gaining meaningful exposure and continuing their development.
HOW TO BECOME A MAGIC PLAYER
Joining Northwest Magic is simple.
Step 1 – Complete a Player Prospect Form
Tell us about your athlete, basketball experience, current team, and future goals.
Step 2 – Connect with Our Leadership Team
We’ll review your information and discuss current opportunities, player evaluations, development programs, and team availability.
Step 3 – Attend an Evaluation
Depending on the time of year, your athlete may attend:
- A Player Development workout
- A team practice
- An individual evaluation
- An official Northwest Magic Tryout
This allows our coaching staff to evaluate your athlete while giving your family the opportunity to experience our culture.
Step 4 – Welcome to the Magic Family
If there’s a mutual fit, your athlete will receive an invitation to join Northwest Magic.

TRYOUTS & PLAYER EVALUATIONS
Northwest Magic hosts official team tryouts annually for boys and girls across multiple age groups.
However, opportunities to join Northwest Magic aren’t limited to tryout season.
Throughout the year, roster openings, player evaluations, and development opportunities may become available. We encourage interested families to complete a Player Prospect Form at any time so we can stay connected and notify you of upcoming opportunities.
