Welcome to the official home of the Northwest Magic Girls Tournament Schedules for Season 21.

From our developing teams competing locally throughout Washington, to our regional and national travel teams competing throughout the Pacific Northwest and across the country, every Northwest Magic team has a pathway designed to challenge players, create opportunities, and continue their development.

This season also marks another chapter in the growth of Northwest Magic as our family expands beyond Tacoma with Northwest Magic Portland Fire.

The schedules below are organized by team and represent each team’s planned tournament pathway for the 2026–2027 Fall/Winter season.

Tournament schedules may be adjusted throughout the season based on competition level, tournament availability, qualification opportunities, team development, and what is best for each individual team.

High School Girls schedules are not yet posted. Our high school spring/summer schedules and national circuit information will be added as those teams and schedules are finalized.

MORE THAN A SCHEDULE — IT’S A PATHWAY

At Northwest Magic, tournaments are not simply weekends on a calendar.

Each team’s schedule is built around where that group is developmentally and where we believe they need to compete next.

Some teams will primarily compete locally.

Some will travel regionally.

Others will compete nationally on some of the biggest stages in girls basketball.

Different schedules. Different pathways. One Northwest Magic standard.

Our goal is to continue providing opportunities for players to develop, compete, be challenged, build confidence, and prepare for their next level of basketball.

At Northwest Magic, every girl who walks into our gym becomes part of something bigger — a sisterhood, a standard, and a legacy.

Our jersey carries history.

Our team names carry meaning.

And our program represents generations of players who started young, trusted the process, developed within Northwest Magic, and went on to accomplish incredible things in basketball and beyond.

Many of our elite girls teams are named after former Northwest Magic players — young women who once stood exactly where the next generation stands today.

They grew from youth players into collegiate athletes, professionals, leaders, coaches, and role models.

Their names are intentionally carried forward so the next generation understands that there is a story behind the jersey they wear.

OUR PLAYER-NAMED TEAMS & WHAT THEY REPRESENT

TEAM MAXWELL

Named after Brynna Maxwell, former Northwest Magic standout, Division I star and WNBA draftee. University of Utah, Drafted 13th overall pick to the WNBA Chicago Sky.

Represents: Dedication, consistency, preparation, and the climb from youth basketball to the professional level.

 

TEAM TIARRA

Named after Tiarra Brown, former Northwest Magic standout, collegiate standout and professional player. Currently playing overseas.

Represents: Heart, humility, relentless work ethic, competitiveness, and passion for the game.

 

TEAM KV

Named in honor of a former Northwest Magic athlete whose basketball journey continued to the NBA level as an official.

Represents: Integrity, discipline, respect, excellence, and commitment to every part of the game.

 

TEAM RICE

Named after Zykera Rice, former Northwest Magic standout and collegiate competitor. (Gonzaga University- Played overseas for several years, played on several WNBA teams including the Seattle Storm)

Represents: Leadership, competitive fire, confidence, and unwavering belief.

 

TEAM HUFF

Named after Megan Huff, former Northwest Magic standout, collegiate star and professional player. (University of Utah, Drafted to New York Liberty-WNBA)

Represents: Perseverance, elite preparation, resilience, and staying the course.

These names are intentional.

They connect generations of Northwest Magic players and remind every young girl wearing a Magic jersey that someone came before her — and someone will come after her.

That is legacy.

Northwest Magic is built to meet players where they are while continuing to challenge them toward where they can go.

Our tournament pathways may include:

LOCAL COMPETITION

Opportunities to develop, compete consistently, build confidence, and grow within the Northwest Magic system.

REGIONAL COMPETITION

Higher-level competition throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest designed to challenge teams against strong regional programs.

NATIONAL COMPETITION

Travel opportunities, national events, circuits, showcases, and championship-level competition for teams prepared for that stage.

Regardless of pathway, every Northwest Magic player is connected by the same expectations:
